Intro
The hosts introduce the episode, mentioning they will be covering Digimon Tamers episodes 11 and 12, the Digimon Story: Message in a Packet Christmas special, and the Digimon Tamers movie 4: Runaway Locomon. They acknowledge they were unwell during the Christmas special recording and mention a solo segment about the Digimon universe at the end of episode 13. They also address viewers asking if they would cover "Message in a Packet," confirming they already did in episode 17.
Lost News Latinum
The hosts start the movie discussion with Ruki being suspicious at a train station because her mom is taking her to a flower viewing, even though they're not in season. In the dub, Ruki seems angrier and knows something is up. Takato calls Ruki, and she accuses him of planning something. The hosts discuss why Takato called her. They also discuss why the other Digimon are in the open, but Calumon is in a box.
First Impressions
A train rushes past, and the Digimon are back in the real world with no explanation. This takes place after the end of the last episode of Tamers, discounting the Christmas special. In the dub, the season four opening song is used, even though it includes references to spirit evolution. A big angry train tries to murder Ruki. The hosts note that the movie seems to be missing scenes due to time constraints.
Locomon
Guilmon evolves, and the hosts feel the dub lost the asset to the stars of digivolution. There is a lot of untranslated Japanese text. The train is Locomon, a Digimon who wants to keep running. The hosts question how Locomon lives in the digital world and whether there are tracks there. They also discuss Locomon's appearance in Digimon Frontier and Cross Wars. Locomon has a spinny majig off to the side of him like a James Bond car.
The Train Ride
Takato jumps on board the train and tells Jeri to tell the others he is on the train. The train Digimon is different from the rest of the train. Takato goes inside and says it is like an antique. The hosts feel the best part is with Lotmon and Terriermon. Susie is a complainer, but Jen carries her. Youmarkie shows up at train administration and says he is part of the network admin. The hosts note that the Hypnos office is back.
Ruki's Dad
Youmarkie says the Hypnos sent him. There are big clouds in the sky, and they say it is a digital zone. Takato tries to find the brakes on the train. Ruki jumps on the train. Takato says he was going to use a card, but Ruki says she will use it. Takato tells her that Jeri was planning a surprise party for her. Beelzemon shows up. The hosts question why he is there.
Parasimon
Guilmon says Takato got on the train because he was too strong. Jen grabs Lotmon instead of Terriermon. Youmarkie is making people build new train lines. Youmarkie calls Ruki to give the phone to Takato. Ruki grabs a wrench to smash the train. Ruki is being controlled, and inside Ruki's mind, there are filled eyes. Ruki starts attacking Takato.
Crimson Mode
Renamon gets hit and falls to the window. Ruki and Renamon are being controlled by Parasimon. Locomon evolves to Grand Locomon. Takato matrix evolves. Beelzemon shows up and says he will chance to hug him. Takato starts screaming, and his penis starts glowing. Justimon shows up. Sakuyamon's breasts jiggle. Justimon becomes Crimson Mode and saves the day.
The Party
Everyone goes to Ruki's birthday party, even though she did not want one. Takato is talking to Rio about being a tamer. Terriermon is singing the biggest dreamer. Ruki walks off as she watches the sunset. During the credits, they get what you see on the English. Guilmon brought bread to the party.
Final Thoughts
The hosts share their final thoughts on the movie. One host feels that the movie is not a movie but a filler episode. The ultimate aim of the movie is a story about Ruki remembering she has a dad. The hosts feel that the studio did not respect the idea of what Tamers was trying to do. The movie feels like it was written by a marketing person who was shown three random episodes.
Japanese vs English
The hosts discuss the major differences between the Japanese and English versions. Ruki specifically hates Youmarkie in the English version. The hosts prefer the CD drama over the movie.
Digimon Design
The hosts discuss the Digimon designs introduced in the movie. Locomon is just a train with googly eyes. Grand Locomon is a slightly larger train. Parasimon is an alien.

The hosts read emails from listeners. One listener says that D-Reaper Jury is the creepiest thing of all in Digimon. Another listener says that in the German dub, Sakuyamon was female, even though Renamon wasn't. Another listener says that Rio should have died. One listener says that the movie had great animation.
