Some of the series 1 Digimon become envious of the series 2 Digimon's ability to use DNA digivolution. Palmon and Biyomon are jealous of Simon, the Jass DNA digivolution of Hwon and Gamon. They visualize their own fusion, imagining Togemon with Bergeron's wings and Palmon's flower petal head. Hawkmon and Gotamon find Peon and Palmon trying to fuse by running into each other. They surprise Vmon with a cosplay of their fantasy jress, with Palmon standing on Biyomon's head wearing cardboard wings.
