Episode 22 brings with it an iconic skull gymon appearance. Skull gymon is the Digimon standin for Freddy Krueger, with humans being trapped in a dream world.
Episode 23 sees the main partner Digimon becoming infected. Someone is using satellite dishes to amplify the red scale signal and reach more Digimon. KIRO is tasked with destroying an inactive satellite.

Episode 27 brings back black gamon, the series Amazon delivery driver. Black tailmon shows up with a Sligh kind of like Santa Claus and just kind of takes splashmon away back to the digital world.
Episode 28 shows us an evolution failing for the first time in the series. Hio and gaman tried to give Keno vison even more power but pushed a little too hard.
Episode 29 delivers on what we were all hoping to see based on last week's 29 teaser. Tedison jellyman's ultimate debuted in this very solid koshiro based episode.
Episode 30 sees a new character, a girl from R's Social Circle, partnering up with not one but two Digimon. This newcomer kyono teams up with an ex tyrannomon and waman zimon and starts wreaking havoc.
31-40
Episode 31 includes black tailon returning to deliver a message from hoo's Dad. Zubamon was once scarred in battle against Maman and was only helping Ang Goran and the team in order to get a win against Maman.
Episode 33 is one of the most shocking and darkest Digimon episodes ever. It casually depicts the gruesome death of one of the main characters.
Episode 35 sees Lorton, the ultimate evolution of Ang Goron, make its anime debut. Lorton was a bloodthirsty Hulk who almost took things too far just pummeling his opponent before someone intervened.
Episode 37 sees hio and ruli visit kosir at his new job site. The team believes rare rmon has lost all thought and reason that it's just a living corpse at this point. They decide the only thing they can do is to end rare Ron's life and return it to a digama Digi egg.

Episode 39 introduces the second of two kind of special 2022 Digimon espon and ryudamon. Bakaman asks angoram man how do you guys turn back every time after you evolve. The reason our yimon knew to reach out to the team is actually because of Hero's dad hoko.
Episode 40 sees spiral Beach. Espon's arm is mysteriously twisted. Hio and the Gang go to the beach to investigate what could have caused this phenomenon.
41-50
Episode 41 sees someone from the circus luring children and turning them into cards. Ry and hio sneak into the circus after angor man is kidnapped.
Episode 42 sees gulas scan's last appearance. The cruel but sophisticated dark digivolution form of gamon finally returned for its third appearance in Digimon ghost game.
Episode 43 just took the throne and became the episode to contain ghost game's most chilling body horror. This Ison rips people's true eyes right off of their face replaces them with red eyes.
Episode 45 sees people start receiving newsletters with articles detailing events that haven't happened. The episode ends with Anna being forced to skydive and the team accompanying her.
Episode 47 brought armor Evolution into ghost game with the anime debut of an old school armor form that was never seen in the anime but was known from the trading card Game and video games.

Episode 51 shows some of the things the upgraded Digivice can do. A creepy headless ghost resembling the legendary Knight Dahan starts attacking students at hazakura Academy.
Episode 52 shows some of the things the upgraded Digivice cannot do. Hio and his friends come to a lake where it is rumored that Kaa hunt and drag humans underwater.
Episode 53 sees the king of knowledge. Koshiro visits a shrine in kiyoto on a school trip. From then someone starts to come pick KIRO up at night and challenges his knowledge.
Episode 55 sees a different anime cat lady start training humans and making the best of them into her personal pets.
Episode 56 brings the debut of Serius Monon. This Mega's debut was stunning though the animation rocked.
Episode 58 sees the team dealing with bizarre block indents all around town and missing belongings like shoes and pants. Hio is turned into one of these blocks.
Episode 59 sees kirro go out of town for work where he meets medu. They go see a Senti action show together and encounter a hologram ghost.
Episode 60 sees water ghost Jellyman koshiro and the Gang visit a festival and encounter a strange rain that was not forecasted.
61-64
Episode 61, "Resurrection," features one of the best episodes of Ghost Game. A zed Millennium man appears and has been powering manami's corpse.
Episode 62 sees strange incidents keep happening in the apartment building where R's friend AI lives. Espeon is moving out of the dorm thinking that hanging around with the fake hero isn't going to help him find the real hero.
Episode 63, "Gluttony," sees Ry go to a cake buffet with her friends. After that something strange happens to her no matter how much she eats she's still starving and nothing will satisfy her hunger.
Episode 64 sees hio compelled to head towards the water and go on a fishing trip on board a boat. He hears chanting and learns that everyone on board is worshiping a mysterious Digimon.
CLIMAX 65-67
Episode 65 finally allows our heroes to step into the digital world. The team and hoo's Dad discuss options into the digital world. Kazan shows up and she says she can take us.
Episode 66 was really good. We got the Evolution for gulus gamon regulus Monon. We got an explanation for what's been going on in the digital world the grb.
Episode 67 picks up precisely where we left off with a hole in Sirius manon's chest. Gamon is in some Purgatory State.
CONCLUSIONS
Digimon ghost game is a fun episodic almost horror Anthology with little one-off stor set in the Digimon universe. It has one of the strongest starts in all of Digimon with a dark tone incredible monster Designs Great Character and an intriguing mystery but it fails or stubbornly refuses to let those great characters grow or to expand on that intriguing mystery.
