Other rumors include a ghost in the abandoned mansion of former Adonis CEO Mike Ditch, a witch in wasser grab, and a cult of the old ones in Chalet delepa. The news provides context on the missing Carnival Queen from panta gruel and an invite to meet boss Blow Bear.

The team arrives at a location with a boat full of explosives, which they plan to use to weaken the Legion blockade at Camp Le barrier. Livewire gains the "dire warning" perk. The team loots the area, finding 40-millimeter grenades and intel for the sanatorium run by Dr. Cronenberg. They also find armor weaves and explosives. The team swaps in a modded viewer with a prism scope for Kalina.

The team encounters hostiles while pursuing the Restless Spirit. They split up to Ambush the Restless Spirit by guarding the exits. The spectral Intruder turns out to be a treasure hunter who got in over his head. After defeating him, they find a messy map showing an X inside the fleet Town Church, indicating treasure inside the church.

The team receives a commendation from Kalina, rewarding them with $2,000 from the aim Star Fund. "The Daily Chien" reports that the Legion is losing ground in the fleetown area and provides insight into fleetown's unruly nature and the roles of Father tooker and boss below bear in maintaining order. The news also discusses Father Tucker's unusual approach to saving souls by accepting diamonds as payment.

The team plans to capture the Restless Spirit by guarding the roads out of the sector. They split their Squad into three different groups, one on each exit, to Ambush the Spirit. The spectral Intruder is revealed to be a hapless hide and shoot treasure hunter who got in over his head.

The team discovers they cannot cross back to the left side of the river without passing through a fort. They decide to go into Camp barrier and try to creep to the West exit grid. They encounter Legion forces and engage in combat. Despite being tired and wounded, they decide to hold their ground and start a slow, orderly Retreat back towards the exit grid. The team manages to thin out the enemy numbers and scout the area. They eventually secure The Crossing and claim Camp La barrier, increasing their loyalty with fleetown to 75.

The team reflects on their accomplishments, including clearing three sectors, taking their first Fortress, and bumping their loyalty with fleetown up to 75.
