India's ranking in 2025 is 102 out of 123 countries, compared to 105 out of 127 countries in 2024. The global score is 18.3, while India's score is 25.8. The target for Zero Hunger is set for 2030, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2. Other important indices include India's ranking in the SDG Index (99), Helene Passport Index (85), Press Freedom Index (151), and Happiness Index (118).
Naval Exercise with South Korea [9:21]
India and South Korea are conducting their first naval exercise, hosted in Busan, South Korea. The exercise, named INROKN, aims to secure the Indo-Pacific area, particularly against China. It is happening in two phases: the Sea Phase and the Harbor Phase. India's INS Sahyadri is participating in the exercise. South Korea's capital is Seoul, and its currency is Won. Thailand is known as the Land of Elephants. Maximum elephants in India are found in Karnataka, and in the North East, they are found in Assam. Elephants are listed in the endangered category by the IUCN. Project Elephant was initiated in 1992, and Elephant Day is celebrated on August 12th. There are 33 elephant reserves in India, with the new one being the Terai Elephant Reserve. The data was collected by the Wildlife Institute of India (Dehradun) and the Ministry of Environment (Bhupendra Yadav).

Mini Ratna status has two categories based on turnover: Category One (₹120 crore) and Category Two (₹80 crore) in three years. Maharatna status is held by 14 companies, with HL being the new one. Navaratna status is held by 26 companies. DRDO has recently tested the combat parachute system at an altitude of 32,000 feet. DRDO was made on January 1, 1958. The parachute was made on an indigenous basis for safe landing.
